Calla's passion for storytelling has taken her across North America, Africa and the Middle East. At 18, she moved from small town British Columbia to the big city of Toronto and never looked back. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours from Ryerson University and has exhibited her work in Toronto, Montreal and Kelowna.

Calla believes great photographs speak about relationships and that the photographer is never really outside the frame. When not chasing light beams and getting into sticky situations, she enjoys spending time in her little apartment in mid-town Toronto with her little dog, Sammy.
